The Microsoft Installer for the Acquire (acquire.msi) offers the same installation options as the full Acquire installer described earlier in this chapter, when used with the Microsoft Installer bootstrapper msiexec.
An additional advantage of using msiexec is to allow for unattended or “silent” installation. This makes it easy to distribute an Acquire package and install it remotely using a framework tool such as Tivoli.
