Syncsort Capacity Management developers uses Microsoft merge modules to ensure required runtime library DLLs are installed and sufficiently up to date. Precisely has no control or visibility of the actions generated by this, including any restart requirement.
We have not previously had any occurrences of these merge modules needing a restart. This would only occur where other C++ applications were currently using these libraries.
