Acquire records the interval length of data and uses this to store information in the database.
Control Center has a minimum interval granularity of 1 minute, the same as z/VM’s MONITOR.
If however the interval length from MONITOR data “wobbles” from say 59 to 61 seconds then Control Center will reject all intervals less than 60 seconds. For that reason, you are recommended to set a MONITOR interval length greater than one minute if that is your choice of input data. Velocity Software data is most often summarized to 15 minutes so the problem of short intervals will not occur.
