In order for Acquire to capture Oracle performance data, SQL*Plus must be installed and suitably configured on the Acquire system so it can make connections to Oracle instances.
The installation and configuration of SQL*Plus is beyond the scope of Precisely to advise.
Note: SQL*Plus is not a prerequisite for being able to install the Oracle
component of the Windows Acquire. It is only necessary for actual Oracle data
capture, as it provides the means of communication between Acquire and the Oracle
instance(s) to be monitored.
