If you share the Working Folders and are not adding this Control Center to an existing
Pool, you need to specify the details for the new Pool as mentioned below:
- Specify the Share name that the Control Center service will use. If there
is an existing share that Control Center is going to use, specify it here and
ensure that you have NOT selected the Create a network share for the work
area checkbox. Ensure that you follow the guidelines on using existing
share paths, especially the use of double backslashes within the share path,
i.e. \\SERVER\ShareName.Note: If the existing share does NOT contain Work Area sub-folders, the installer will automatically install them into the designated shared work folder.
- To create a new share, select the Create a network share for the work
area checkbox and specify the path to the Windows folder location that

Note: The installer will create the Work Area sub-folders if they do not exist.Note: When you create a share, the Control Center service account details that you entered during the install process will be used to allow permissions on the designated share. If you want to allow other Control Center Servers which are running under separate user accounts to use the same Working Folder share, then you need to manually add those accounts to the Share Permissions once the installation is complete. Refer to the Checking and Setting Working Folder Share Permissions section for more details. - Select the appropriate option and click Next.
