Acquire and Syncsort Capacity Management provide the ability to collect and report on a summary of MQ Series subsystems activity by processing certain subtypes of SMF type 115 records:
Subsystem level (Subtype 1)
Buffer pools (Subtype 2 and 215)
Coupling Facility activity (Subtype 2)
Coupling Facility dataset activity (Subtype 2)
By default, MQ Series data will be processed by Acquire. To avoid it entirely set the control card MQ=N. To control what data is passed through set the control card (or allow to default) MQ=Y and set MQOPTS=abcd, where:
a : Y to include subsystem level or N to not include this
b : Y to include buffer pool detail or N to not include this
c : Y to include CF activity or N to not include this
d : Y to include CF dataset activity or N to not include this
The default is MQOPTS=YYYY. Any combination apart from MQOPTS=NNNN is permissible.
