The utility has four main uses:

To complete the connection credentials for Oracle data capture, if you decided to set details later using the Accounts utility.

To allow the specification of additional Oracle instances from which you want to capture performance data using the same copy of Acquire.

To define the connection credentials for agentless data capture (i.e., using WMI)

To define the connection credentials for capturing from a VMware vCenter Web Service.
