You can use Acquire to upgrade an earlier version, whether 32-bit or 64-bit. For a new installation of Acquire, it will use standard Microsoft installation locations for programs and data.
An upgraded Acquire will continue to use its old locations for continuity. These locations include:
The location of the program binaries and scripts.
The location of the APMIn and APMOut folders.
