Viewing Business Rules in List View - trillium_discovery - trillium_quality - 17.1

You can open various List Views of business rules within the Control Center, depending on the context and with what rules you want to work:

• At the repository, attribute, or entity level
• In a Baseline Analysis, Time Series Analysis, or Quality project
• To view passing, failing, and enabled business rules
• To view Group By results for all EBRs in an entity

To view all business rules in an entity

1. In the Navigation View, right-click an entity and select Business rules > Drill down to all business rules or (for input entities in a Quality project) Tools > Business rules > Drill down to all business rules.

   A List View of all rules contained within the entity opens. Note the following:

   • If no EBRs have been added to the current entity, this view only shows ABRs.
   • If you have trouble viewing EBRs in this view, sort the Attribute column in descending order; EBRs do not generate an attribute name, therefore they are listed before ABRs.
2. Highlight the rule or rules with which you want to work, right-click, and select a menu option.

To view all EBRs in an entity

1. In the Navigation View, right-click an entity and select Business rules > Drill down to entity business rules or (for input entities in a Quality project) Tools > Business rules > Drill down to entity business rules.

   A List View of all EBRs contained within the entity opens. If no EBRs have been added to the current entity, this view will be empty.

2. Highlight the rule or rules with which you want to work, right-click, and select a menu option.

To view all EBRs in a repository

1. In the Navigation View, click the Discover bar and right-click the Entities tab.
2. Select Drill down to all entity business rules.

   A List View of all EBRs contained within the repository opens. If no EBRs have been added to the current repository, this view will be empty.

To view all ABRs in an attribute

1. In the Navigation View, right-click an attribute and select Business Rules > Drill down to attribute business rules.

   A List View of all ABRs contained within the current entity opens.

2. Highlight the rule or rules with which you want to work, right-click, and select a menu option.

To view an entity's passing, failing, or enabled rules

1. In the Navigation View, right-click an entity and select Drill down to metadata or (for input entities in a Quality project) Tools > Drill down to metadata.

   Note following metadata for EBRs in the entity:

   • Business Rules
   • Enabled Business Rules
   • Passing Business Rules
   • Failing Business Rules
2. Double-click a metadata row to view more information.
