Editing Transformation Rules - trillium_discovery - trillium_quality - 17.1

After you create transformation rules, you can change them to fit your business needs.

To edit transformation rules

1. From the Navigation or Project View, right-click the Transformer process and select Edit Process. You can also double-click the process to open it for editing.
2. Select the Input Conditionals tab for the input data transformation. Select the Output Conditionals tab for the output data transformation.
3. Click the rule that you want to edit in the Transformation Rules pane (right-hand side).
4. Right-click and select Edit.... Depending on the rule you selected, the Attribute Scan Wizard, Attribute Transformation, Table Recodes, or Character Mapping window displays. If you are editing the Attribute Scan, you can go directly to a specific step of the wizard by using the tabs on the left-hand side of the Attribute Scan Wizard (Attribute, Action, Flag, Change, Copy/Move, or Delete tab).
5. Edit the appropriate rule.
6. Click Finish to go back to the Input or Output Conditionals window.
7. Click Finish.
