After you copy a project to the Library, you can view the original output attributes and other elements such as parser inputs, row filters, and output conditionals.

These elements represent the settings made in the source process. They are not active, cannot be edited or modified, and are displayed for context as a guideline for how you can use and share the library projects.

This topic describes the following tasks:

  • Viewing a library project workflow
  • Viewing a process
  • Editing the name and description of a library project and process
Guidelines: Note the following when opening and viewing a process:
  • Attributes included with the first process in a library project are output only. Because the process is removed from its original source, there are no input attributes displayed in the Schema Editor.
  • Library projects are templates or outlines. Therefore, when viewing a library project workflow you cannot edit or modify the project structure; for example, you cannot insert or delete processes or change the number of outputs.
  • Library projects display in the Navigation View and in a workflow in the Quality Process Flow Library View.
To view a library project in a Quality Process Flow Library View
  1. In the Navigation View, click the Develop bar, and click the Library tab.
  2. Expand Projects.
  3. Right-click the project with which you want to work, and select Open or Open in new window. The Quality Process Flow Library View displays, showing each process and associated output entity.

The name of each output entity corresponds to project information about the original source project.

For example, an output entity with the name tranfrmr Address Project P2 (48) means the library project was copied from a Name and Address project, the output is from a Transformer process, and is copied from the entity ID P2 (48) in the source project.
