The RSOUNDEX2 modifier is used with the PARTIAL2 routine to match two strings, using the improved SOUNDEX algorithm. The input strings are reversed before the algorithm is used. For example, if the string was ‘JOHN SMITH’, it is read as ‘HTIMS NHOJ.’ See SOUNDEX2.for algorithm.
Note: All SOUNDEX related routines are limited to working with attribute sizes of 256
characters.
