Reconstruction rules are specified by the CONDITIONALS parameter in the Output Conditionals section. This parameter includes arguments that contain instructions and commands.
Guidelines
When creating a conditional statement, follow these guidelines:
- Enter a conditional statement after the CONDITIONALS parameter in the Output Conditionals section.
- Use the CONDITION argument to specify one or more conditions for processing your data.
- Use the FOR_FILES argument to specify the files to which the conditional statement applies.
- (Optional) Use the CONDITIONAL_ENCODING argument to specify the encoding of the CONDITION argument.
- Begin each block of data that contains a conditional statement with the ENTRY and ENTRY_ID arguments.
