The Transformer lets you scan the original value in the attribute and change, copy, move, flag, or delete the value or set a value in a different attribute. For example, you can use Attribute Scan to remove unwanted data element such as punctuation and spaces so that you can effectively clean up the data for further processing.
You can specify the Attribute Scan settings manually only for the special Transformers (Transformer Data Reconstruction, Transformer Label Lines, and Transformer Pre Postal Matcher). Use the Attribute Scan Wizard for all other Transformer processes.
Note: The
Transformer Address Reconstruction and Transformer Global Postal processes are no longer
used in the current version. If your previously created projects include the Transformer
Address Reconstruction or Transformer Global Postal process, you can continue to use
it.
