Use this procedure to determine which attributes in an entity contain soundexes.
To find attributes that contain soundexes
- In the Navigation View, click the Discover bar, then click the Entities tab.

Right-click an entity and select Drill down to Attributes.
The Entity Member Attributes List View opens. Attributes that have a soundex display a value greater than zero (0) in the Soundexes column. If necessary, use the scroll bar at the bottom of the List View to see all columns.

Right-click the row of an attribute that contains soundexes and select Drill down to Attribute Metadata.
The Entity Member Attribute List View opens.

To view a list of all soundexes in the attribute, double-click the Soundexes row.
The Soundexes List View displays.

Column Name
Description
Soundex
Soundex code for the value.
Value Count
Number of values in the attribute that match the soundex code.
Frequency
Frequency of the soundex; that is, how many times the soundex value occurs in the attribute.
Dist %
Percentage of rows in a attribute that contains values matching this soundex. Dist % means distribution (in percents) of the soundex value across the attribute.
