After you have created an Entity Group, you can do the following:

Expand Entity Group

To expand an Entity Group:

Select the Entity Group.
Right-click and select Expand from the drop-down options.

The Quality Process Entity Group Flow window opens listing all the entities and the processes contained within the Entity Group.
After you have reviewed the grouping, close the window.

Restore Entity Group

When you restore an Entity Group, you remove the grouping and show all the entities and the processes contained within the Entity Group.

To restore an Entity Group

Select the Entity Group.
Right-click and select Restore from the drop-down options.

The Entity Group expands to list all the entities and the processes contained within the Entity Group.

Note: This is the view you would normally see if you had not configured the Entity Group.

Note about multi-country projects

After you restore the entity group for a country in a multi-country project, you may get the following error if you try to regroup an entire country process flow.

Error: Cannot create Entity Group that contains existing Entity Group

This is due to default Microsoft behavior of how the Shift key operates. Workaround the issue by following one of the solutions listed here:

Method 1

Click the first entity in the desired group to select it. Then press the Shift key and while keeping it pressed, click the last entity of the desired entity group. You will see that entities to the right have also got selected.
Press the CTRL key and while keeping it pressed, click each of the entities that should not be included in the group. This will clear the entities from the selection.
Repeat step 2 till all extra entities are unselected.

Method 2

Click the first entity in the desired group to select it.
Now press the CTRL key and while keeping it pressed, click each of the entities that should be included in the group.
Repeat step 2 till all desired entities are selected.

Rename Entity Group

You can rename an entity group to provide a descriptive name to the group. The default naming convention of say Entity(8) does not let you know the processes that are contained within and in complicated projects, if you are grouping processes together, it is useful to provide an accurate label for the contents within.

To rename an Entity Group

Select the Entity Group.
Right-click and select Rename from the drop-down options. The Rename Entity Group window opens.
In the Entity Group Name field, enter a descriptive name.
Click OK to save your changes.
