When you import data, you may not know how many rows of data exist in the original source. If you do know, find the number of rows imported and make sure it matches what you expected. Otherwise, you should make finding both the number of rows and number of attributes in an entity one of the first steps in your data identification process. This information is a foundation on which to build your data profiling strategy.
Row information is located in the selected entity's Entity List View, which you open from the Navigation or Summary Data View.
To open entity metadata from the Navigation View- In the Navigation View, click the Entities tab.
- Right-click the entity with which you want to work and select Drill down to
Metadata.

To see row counts in the Summary Data View
- In the Navigation View, click the Entities tab.
- Click the entity with which you want to work.
The Summary Data View opens for the selected entity.
- Click the About tab. Under Entity Properties note the Row Count.
