Setting Up Email Notifications - trillium_discovery - trillium_quality - 17.1

To send system event notifications to other repository users, your repository administrator must first configure your repository server for email notifications. Ask your administrator to set up email notifications if you do not have access to this feature.

To configure email notifications

1. On the Advanced tab, click Email Notifications. A list of email notifications, categorized by event type, displays in a List View.

   Table 1. Event types

   Event Type	Email contains…
   Business Rule Failed	Error message, job name, and description for each business rule that fails.
   Business Rule Succeeded	Successful result message, job name, and description for each business rule that succeeds.
   Exported Rows Completed	Job name and number of rows that were successfully exported.
   Exported Rows Failed	Job name and error message.
   Load Job Completed	Job name and number of rows loaded.
   Load Job Failed	Job name and error message.

2. Right-click an event type in the list and select Edit Email.
3. In the Email options window, specify the email recipients and text message you want to send.

   This table describes the options in the Email options window and what to do.

   Table 2. Email options

   Email Option	Action
   To:	Enter email addresses for one or more recipients.
   Cc:	(Optional) Enter email addresses for one or more recipients.
   Subject:	Enter a meaningful subject.
   Body	Type the text of the message.
   Variables	Double-click a variable to add it to the body of your email message.

4. Click OK.

   This change takes effect immediately, and remains in effect until you change it again.
