After you populate the Project Library, you can start reusing the projects by copying them into existing Quality workflows.

The following steps outline the process:

  1. Copy the Library Project into an existing Quality project to create a new process workflow or to insert within the existing flow.
  2. Add new input by connecting to the first library process.
  3. In the Schema Editor, map the new input attributes of the first library process to the output attributes copied from the Library.
  4. Recreate or reassign any input filters and file update match keys for the first process in the process workflow, as needed.
  5. Run the project to generate the output data.
Guidelines: Note the following when copying from the Project Library:
    • You can copy a Name and Address project into an existing Name and Address workflow regardless of whether the target project contains the same country.
    • You can copy a library project into a Quality project of any type, including an empty project. You will be prompted to make any necessary manual modifications to the schema.
    • Processes can be used across all types of projects regardless of version, country support, and project type, except for the following:
      • When you copy a Customer Data Parser process into a Quality project, the target project must include the country to which the Customer Data Parser belongs.
      • When you copy a Postal Matcher process into a Quality project, the target project must include the country to which the Postal Matcher belongs.
    • When you reuse a library project, no association is retained between the version copied into a Quality project and the original library project.
