Notification messages display information when a job completes. Trillium errors and warnings display when a problem is detected. If the More button is active on the error bar, additional information about the error is available. This information is important if you need to contact technical support. A fault report can be saved for reference.

  • Messages display with a information icon - Information message icon
  • Warnings display with an exclamation mark - Warning exclamation icon
  • Errors display with a red X - Error notification icon

To view, save, and copy an error notification

  1. On the error notification bar, click More on the message you want to view. (If more than one error message displays, rotate through the messages to the one you want to view). If no information is available, click the X to close the bar. The error message window displays.
  2. To see more information about the error, click Details. The window expands to include information about the error which is useful for troubleshooting problems. To hide the information, click Details again.
  3. To save the information in a report, click Create Fault Report. The Fault Reporting window opens.
  4. (Optional) Click Include full report data, as needed.
  5. Click Save Fault Report to navigate to a directory on your system to save the report.
  6. Rename the file or keep the default name.
  7. Click Save. If a report with the name already exists, you are prompted to replace it. Click Yes to overwrite the file or No to rename the file and save it.
  8. To copy the text of the error displayed on the bar, right-click the notification you want to copy and select Copy. This copies the message text to the clipboard. You can then paste the message into another application, such as Word or Excel.
