Before you run the CDP, you can make the following customizations to the output attributes. These procedures are performed in the CDP Schema Editor.
Guidelines:
- Although the Customer Data Parser writes a full set of data to the repository (PREPOS), it uses a subset of the repository attributes in the output schema by default. Using the CDP schema editor, you can add additional repository attributes to the output schema. See Customer Data Parser Attributes for a complete list of the PREPOS attributes.
- The default output schema contains only Name Section 01 (PR_NAME_SECT_01, a single name for each output record). If you want to include multiple names in a single output record, add name sections to the output schema using the CDP schema editor. See Selecting Names to Write for details. The attributes PR_NAME_SECT_01 through PR_NAME_SECT_10 must be present in the output schema to identify the presence of the associated name segments, even though the fields themselves are not actually used.
- Record generation will not work if the attribute PR_NAME_SECT_01 is not present in the output schema.
Add the repository attributes to the output of CDP
To add the repository attributes to the output of CDP
- In the Schema Editor from Customer Data Parser, right-click an output attribute.
- Select Add Parser Outputs. The Parser Output Attributes window opens.
- Select attributes from the list and click Add. All the output attributes selected are added to the bottom of the attribute list.
- Click Finish.
- To apply the schema changes, go to the Navigation or Project View, right-click the process and select Apply Schema Changes.
- When the message box appears, click OK.
