Saving Entity Relationship Diagrams - trillium_discovery - trillium_quality - 17.1

After you format an ERD, you can save it to your system. By default, all ERDs are saved as ER-Diagram Layout file types (.lay).

To save a formatted ERD

1. Open the ERD you want to save.
2. Do one of the following:
   • On the ERD tab, click Save.
   • Right-click the diagram white space and select Save Layout.

   The Save As window opens.

3. Navigate to the directory where you want the ERD saved.
4. Enter a file name for the formatted ERD.
5. Click Save.
