Reference list items are displayed in the Code field by default. These are the values that are displayed as list options when the reference list is used on an asset. You can also choose to define additional fields on a reference list.

  1. From the navigation bar, select Reference Lists.
  2. Select the reference list to which you want to add an additional field, then select the Fields tab.
  3. Click the Add Field button and follow the steps to define a new field.

You can also edit, delete and reorder fields from the Fields tab.

If you want to change the field that holds the reference list items, click the menu button to the right of the reference list on which you have added the additional field and select Edit. Ensure that the field that you want to use to hold the list value items is referenced in the Display Format property. To change the field that is referenced in the Display Format property, delete the existing reference, then select the field that you want to use from the list of available field tokens.
