You can use models to assign responsibilities and ownership. To assign ownership using a model, you must have already created the responsibility type and the model type.
- Go to and assign the appropriate responsibility type to the relevant model type.
- Create an ownership rule that grants the appropriate responsibilities to the required users and groups.
As a result, the users from the defined ownership rule are automatically added to the Responsibilities tab of the model, whenever you create one based on the relevant model type. You can also add one or more users and groups as owners to individual models. The users and groups that belong to any ownership rules that you have created are always present by default.
