Edit assets - Data360_Govern - Preview

You can edit assets if you have the appropriate permissions.

1. On the asset type list page, click the menu button displayed to the right of the asset that you want to edit, and select Edit.
2. In the Edit Asset dialog, make the appropriate changes to the available fields.
3. When you are finished, click Save Changes.
   A spinner displays over the Save Changes button, while the system performs a uniqueness check, to ensure that the key fields used to identify this asset are unique. All fields and buttons are disabled until the check is finished. If there is a single key field, such as Name, which is not unique, then it will be identified as an invalid field. If there are multiple key fields that are not unique, a different validation message displays for all key fields. When complete, the dialog closes and the list grid is updated as appropriate.
