The OpenAPI Connector extracts API metadata from one or more Swagger 2.0 and OpenAPI 3.X specifications. This Connector requires the specification in JSON format, accessible via HTTP(S) or files stored to disk.
The API specification, path, parameter and response is extracted.
The API specification does not include information about which applications use the API, therefore the OpenAPI Connector does not produce data lineage or other types of relationships.
These are not supported:
- Models
- Patterned Objects - Fields beginning with "x-" which extend the Swagger schema with custom vendor extensions
- Security Definitions
- Scope Definitions
- Specification in YAML format
