The Database Connector uses third-party JDBC drivers to connect to and query the metadata of any JDBC compliant database, it extracts SQL code from the database and publishes the information to Data360 Govern using REST APIs.

Database lineage is supported for:

- Google BigQuery
- Hana
- Hive
- Impala
- MariaDB
- MySQL
- Oracle
- PostgreSQL
- Redshift
- Snowflake
- SQL Server
- Sybase
- Teradata
As JDBC is an established industry standard, numerous other database products, vendors and versions may work with this Connector, if they provide a JDBC driver. However, only those listed above are officially supported.
