Data360 DQ+ receives definitions and data from external sources and allows you to create, share, and analyze interactive data visualizations. In this way, Data360 DQ+ leverages the power of visual analytics on-demand and applies that power to information already existing in your business system. You can create a dashboard in Data360 DQ+ that can be viewed in Data360 Govern.

Only users with administrator privileges can create a dashboard. Before you can add Data360 DQ+ dashboards to your Data360 Govern environment, you need to first configure the integration between the two applications.

These steps assume that a dashboard has already been designed and configured in Data360 DQ+. See the Data360 DQ+ documentation for more information about creating and configuring a dashboard.

  1. When you have completed the configuration steps, you are ready to add your first dashboard. Go to Administration > Dashboards, then click the Add button.
  2. In the New Report screen, configure these values:
    • Report Type - Choose Data360 DQ+.
    • Name - Enter a valid, unique name for this dashboard.
    • Target Type - Select the item that your dashboard relates to. The dashboard will be displayed on pages for the asset or asset instance that you select. You can only select one item per dashboard. If you select an asset 'instance', the dashboard will display on all assets of the selected asset type. If you select an asset type, the dashboard will display on the asset list page.
    • URL - Enter the dashboard URL.
    • Show on Home page? - Select to display the dashboard on the home page.
    • Description - Optionally, enter a description for the dashboard.
  3. Click Save.
If your dashboard is not displayed in Data360 Govern:
  • Verify that the Data360 Govern URL specified in the Data360 DQ+ Portal Host Names field is correct.
  • Check the name and value of the tenantId variable in the dashboard URL. Note that the variable name and value are both case sensitive.
