You can apply a filter to search the segments of an asset path. Depending on the operator that you choose, you can enter more than one search term. Each keyword that you enter is compared against the asset path segments for a match.

Choose from one of these operators:

  • contains - This is the default operator. Returns items with an asset path that contains a match with a specified keyword across any of the path segments. You can enter multiple keywords to search against by pressing the Enter key after each keyword to enter another word. Choose Match all to specify that all keywords must match across any path segments, or choose Match any to specify that only one keyword needs to be contained in the asset path for a match.
  • does not contain - Returns items with an asset path that does not contain any of the specified keywords. You can enter multiple keywords to search against by pressing the Enter key after each keyword to enter another word.
  • is - Returns items with an asset path that contains the specified keywords, in order. You can enter multiple keywords to search against by pressing the Enter key after each keyword to enter another word. The number of asset path segments must match the number of specified values to be a match.
  • is not - Returns items with an asset path that does not contain the specified keywords, in order. You can enter multiple keywords to search against by pressing the Enter key after each keyword to enter another word.
  • starts with - Returns items with an asset path that starts with the specified text, that is, that the text entered matches the root path segment.
  • ends with - Returns assets with an asset path that ends with the specified text, that is, that the text entered matches the final leaf path segment.

In all cases, the search is not case sensitive and will trim leading and trailing spaces, but not spaces in between words.

Note: On the global search page, the operators are limited to contains and does not contain. On the global search page, you can only enter one search term in the filter.
