Dashboards display data or information from external applications such as Data360 DQ+ or PowerBI.
Dashboards can be displayed on the Data360 Govern home page, asset type pages, and asset details pages.
Home page
If an administrator has configured a dashboard to be displayed on the Data360 Govern home page, it is displayed at the bottom of the page, below any shortcuts. Only one dashboard can be displayed on the home page.
Asset type page
If an administrator has added dashboards for any type of asset, for example Business Assets > Business Terms, you can view the dashboards by navigating to the asset type's page. To view any available dashboards:
- Navigate to the asset type's page, for example Business Assets > Business Terms.
- Select the Dashboards tab. If the Dashboards tab is not displayed, no dashboards are available for the asset.
- In the Dashboards panel, select a dashboard from the drop down list, and click Display. The dashboard is displayed.
Asset details page
If an administrator has added dashboards for any asset instance, you can view the dashboards by navigating to the asset page. To view any available dashboards:
- Navigate to the asset type's page, for example Business Assets > Business Terms.
- Click the name of an asset in the table to open the asset details page.
- Select the Dashboards tab. If the Dashboards tab is not displayed, no dashboards are available for the asset instance.
- In the Dashboards panel, select a dashboard from the drop down list, and click Display. The dashboard is displayed.
Dashboard permissions
If an adminstrator has created a Data360 DQ+ dashboard, you need to have the required permissions in the Data360 DQ+ environment to be able to view the dashboard.
