When you update an existing record, Trillium Quality for Dynamics does one of the following:
If you update a field used by the cleansing or matching process (name and address, telephone, and e-mail fields by default), Trillium Quality for Dynamics runs the cleansing and matching services.
If you do not update a field used by the cleansing or matching process, Trillium Quality for Dynamics does not run the cleansing and matching services. However, if the record has been previously identified as a duplicate by the matching service, the Duplicates window, described in About Pattern IDs, will display.
