You can create custom queries to select specific records to be processed by a standard batch request. For example, you can create a custom query to select only records for accounts located in a certain city. To create a custom query, use CRM’s Advanced Find feature.
To create a custom query
In CRM, click Advanced Find. The Advanced Find window opens.
Create your query. See the Dynamics 365 help system for information about creating queries.
When the query is complete, click Download Fetch XML and save the file. By default, FetchXML files are saved inyour Downloads directory. To make it easier for users to locate the files, save the files to your Trillium Quality for Dynamics install directory.
Open the saved FetchXML file using an XML editor and copy the XML.Note: Do not copy the XML statements from a browser window; extraneous characters will be copied.
Paste the XML into the batch request, as described in Custom FetchXml Batch Type, and run the request.
