This chapter describes how Trillium Quality for Dynamics identifies duplicate records as they are entered or modified, and how you (optionally) merge records. To learn about identifying duplicates in existing records through a batch request, see Processing Records in a Batch Request.
Note the following guidelines:
Matching is performed on the primary (first) address regardless of whether the record has cleansed multiple addresses.
Matching data requires modifications to your entity forms and security roles, as described in the Trillium Quality for Dynamics Installation and Developer’s Guide. It is assumed that those modifications have been made. If matching is not enabled, consult your system administrator.
