Uninstall the Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) before you uninstall the repository server.

Note: Initiate the process from outside of the _uninst directory. If initiated inside of the _uninst directory, the uninstaller may not completely remove the _uninst directory and it will need to be removed manually. This directory was created during the Trillium installation and will be removed during uninstall.

Uninstalling the EDQ on Red Hat 7

To uninstall the TSS EDQ

  1. Log in as the Trillium application administrator. Locate the directory where you installed EDQ and find _uninst directory.

    The _uninst directory is located here: <software installation root>/_uninst/EDQ17

  2. From the <software installation root> directory, run the uninstall command:

    ./_uninst/EDQ17/uninstaller.bin -console

    The setup prepares for the uninstall and prompts you to confirm the uninstall.

  3. Click Next. You will see EDQ that will get uninstalled.

  4. Press Enter to begin to uninstall. After uninstall is complete, you will see the message “The InstallShield Wizard has successfully uninstalled TSS 17 EDQ.”

Uninstalling the EDQ on Red Hat 8

To uninstall TSS EDQ, from a Red Hat 8 command prompt
  1. Log in as the Trillium application administrator. Locate the directory where you installed EDQ and find _uninst directory.

    The _uninst directory is located here: <software installation root>/_uninst/EDQ17

  2. From the <software installation root> directory, run the uninstall command:

    ./_uninst/EDQ17/tss_edq_linux_RH8.sh --uninstall

    The setup prepares for the uninstall and prompts you to confirm the uninstall. (The current working directory where the uninstaller is located is removed during uninstall. Change to a new current working directory to continue using the Red Hat 8 command prompt.)

  3. Click Next. You will see EDQ that will get uninstalled.

  4. Press Enter to begin to uninstall. After uninstall is complete, you will see the message “The InstallShield Wizard has successfully uninstalled TSS 17 EDQ.”
