The language packs are posted to the Downloads page of the Precisely Support product download website. Download the server and client language pack installers for your language. The language packs are supported for both Windows and Linux installations of Trillium Discovery. You must install the language pack after successfully installing the respective product.
Note: The server software is installed either on Windows or Linux platform and the Control Center or client software is installed on Windows.
Important: The language pack must be installed separately on both the server (Trillium Discovery server) and client (Control Center client) machines.

Installation of Language pack on Trillium Discovery Repository Server

The server language pack must be installed on the machine where Discovery server software is installed.

To install a language pack on server.

  1. Download the language pack files from Precisely Support.
  2. Run the Trillium Discovery Repository Server installer for your language. For example, to install the Japanese language pack:
    • On Windows, double-click TSS 17 - Repository Server Japanese Language Pack.msi to run the installer.
    • On Linux, run ja_svr_setup
      Note: For Linux installations, you can install a new version of a language pack by overwriting the existing version. You do not need to uninstall existing language pack.
    Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
  3. After the installation finishes, set the locale parameter and the locale environment variable depending on your needs. See Locale Configuration.

Installation of Language pack on Control Center Client

The client language pack must be installed on the machine where Control Center client software is installed.

To install the language pack on client.

  1. Download the language pack files from Precisely Support.
  2. Double-click the Control Center client installer for your language. For example, TSS 17 - Control Center Japanese Language Pack.msi.
    Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
  3. After the installation finishes, set the locale parameter and the locale environment variable depending on your needs. See Locale Configuration.
