You must set the REST API locale parameter in the Trillium Discovery Repository server’s config.txt file to use Discovery Center and Administration Center in your language. This ensures that the proper country locale is configured for these applications using the Trillium REST API functionality.
Note: Valid only for Japanese and Simplified Chinese language packs.

To configure the locale parameter

  1. Open the config.txt file on your server system. The file is in the etc directory in your Trillium Discovery Repository server installation location. For example, on Windows this default location is: C:\Program Files\Trillium Software\MBSW\17\etc\config.txt
  2. Locate and edit the rest_api parameter for your language:
    Language Parameter
    Chinese, Mainland (simplified) zh_cn
    Japanese ja_jp
    Note: Add the key/value pair in the file if not already there.

    For example, on Windows, to set the locale to display strings in Japanese, add or edit the settings as follows:

    key rest_api { 
value locale "ja_jp" 
}

    If the locale setting has not been set or has not been added to the config.txt file, the locale defaults to English.

  3. Save and close the file.
  4. Continue on to setting the locale environment variable or, if you are finished configuring the locale, reboot your system.
