You can import rule sets from your local file system (including mapped drives) and from a Trillium repository. You must have read access to the rule set files you plan to import.

Note: You can import one or more files containing multiple rule sets. The import jobs you schedule in Discovery Center can be viewed in the Task Manager.

To import rule sets

  1. In the left Navigation menu, click Rules > Import Rule Set. The Import Rule Set window opens.
  2. To import a file from the local file system, select Local file system. Otherwise, keep the default selection of Server file system.
  3. Click Browse.
    • If importing from the server, the Import from Server window opens showing all available files in your server's /export/ directory. Select one or more files and click OK.
    • If importing from your local system, the Choose file to Upload window opens. Navigate to the desired directory and select one or more files. Click Open.
Note: The file names must have an extension of .ebr or .xml.

The File Name field in the Import Rule Set window populates with the names of the files you selected. Verify the correct files are selected.

  4. Click Import. The import job status can be viewed in the Task Manager. A message opens confirming the import job. Click OK to close the message.

The imported rule sets are listed in the Rule Sets tab of the Business Rules Library.
