Trillium Software System (Trillium) Version 17.1 for Discovery Center includes these new features and enhancements:

New for Trillium Discovery Center v16.1

  • Trillium Discovery and CyberArk Security Integration. Discovery Center can be integrated with your company’s CyberArk account security solution to make retrieving and passing of database credentials more secure. To use the integration, when you add a data source that uses a data connection to a password-protected database, rather than entering the database user ID and password, supply CyberArk credentials. Then, each time the data connection accesses a password-protected ODBC database, the database credentials are retrieved from an encrypted digital vault on a centralized CyberArk server. For more information, see Select Data Source.
  • Trillium Snowflake ODBC 64-bit Driver. Support added for the 64-bit version of Snowflake data warehouse on Windows and Linux. For detailed information, see the Repository Administration Guide or the Administration Center help.

New for Trillium Discovery Center v16.0

  • Integration with Trillium Discovery for Big Data. Trillium Software System is now fully integrated with the Trillium DQ for Big Data products. From Discovery Center, you load HDFS data sources, add business rules, and run data analysis and profiling in your big data environment. Performance of running business rules against HDFS data sources is improved.
  • Trillium ODBC 64-bit Drivers. The built-in TSS ODBC (Trillium-supplied) drivers have been upgraded to include the latest 64-bit database versions for Apache Hive, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Salesforce for both Windows and Linux. For detailed information, see the Repository Administration Guide or the Administration Center help.
