After the second and third Relationship Linkers are run, we combine both Link files and sort them into one file. This step is required to create an input file for the Resolve process so that transitivity is resolved for all indirect matches.
To set up and run the sort process

In the project view, right-click the Link file of the second Relationship Linker process.

Click Add process branch. The Create Process window opens.

Select User-defined Sort from the Process selection list and click OK.

Right-click the newly created Sort process and select Add new inputs. The Add Input Process window opens.

Select the output file from the third Relationship Linker process and click OK.

Open the Sort process and click the Sort Order tab. The Sort Order window opens.

Click Add and add a sort key as follows:

Name: From_Link
-
Order: Ascending
-
Collating sequence: ASCII

Click OK.

Click Insert and add another sort key as follows:

Name: To_Link
-
Order: Descending
-
Collating sequence: ASCII

Click the Options tab. The Sort Options window opens.

Select Keep one record for the Duplicate setting. Click Finish.
- Run the process and verify that the output contains information from both Link
files without any duplicates. The Link file for the sample project is shown in the
