Assume your standard name and address project has the following input and output attributes:

  • Since FIRSTNAME and LASTNAME are in both the input and output requirements, they must be carried through every process in the project. If these attributes are removed from the schema, the output data will be blank.

  • ID_NUM and SOURCE are not required in the output format, and it does not appear that there is manipulation of the data during the standardization process. Therefore, these two attributes can be removed from the output schema of the first process (Transformer) in the project. The attributes will be ignored and will not be passed on to the next process.

  • The DR attributes are generated and populated during the Transformer Data Reconstruction, therefore should only be present in the output schema of that process.

  • Additionally, some Trillium-generated attributes that are not required may be removed. For example, if there is no matching process in your project, all of the attributes required for the Relationship Linker can be removed from the output schema of the Customer Data Parser (the point at which they are aTomatically added to the process).

Use the following procedures to remove the extraneous attributes from the project.
