  1. Follow the instructions in Verify status on the IBM i using the EVSTATUS Command to run the command EVIEW/EVSTATUS.
  2. Check the status of the TCP/IP port being used by using the command: NETSTAT *CNN.

    If Hub is connected, the port configured in parameter EV400_AS400_MSG_PORT (9000 by default) should show as “Established”.

    It is also normal for this port to be in a “Listen” state.
