There are some restrictions in SAP that are out of Trillium Software’s control. Suggested workarounds are supplied:
Restriction: Processing data by Account Group is not available
Suggested workaround: Trillium Software provides customers with user exits that allow for data manipulation pre- and post-postal validation and Duplicate Check. This is not part of the certification; the exits are provided as an optional function.
Restriction: Organization and Individual name cleansing
Suggested workaround: You can choose to implement custom source code with the user exits provided by TSS. See page 240 for information about user exits.
Restriction: Batch matching in SAP
Suggested workaround: Duplicate Check requires a user’s interaction to act upon the duplicates found. In batch, the processes are in the background where user interaction does not take place. Depending on the program used for processing a batch job, users may review the returned messages and the list of duplicates to determine actions to take on the incoming data.
