To place packages in the specified directory

Copy the file EXxxxxxx.SAR to directory /usr/sap/trans.

Note: xxxxxx is the Add-On version based on the Basis/CRM version. For example, EX837701.SAR is the Add-On for CRM 7.0 Basis 7.01.
Log on as user sapsid adm.
Navigate to the directory /usr/sap/trans.
Enter the following command to unpack the archive:
```
SAPCAR -xvf EXxxxxxx.SAR
```
Verify that the unpacked file is in the EPS Inbox of your transport directory (/usr/sap/trans/EPS/in).

Note: When you select Add-Ons in the IS_SELECT phase, the corresponding package should appear as the default value.
