SAP Application Servers are the heart of the SAP application, where all requests to validate, match and search are initiated.
SAP Gateway provides communication support between the SAP Application Servers and the TS Client for SAP.
Note: Trillium Software strongly recommends installing an SAP Gateway on each server
(standalone Gateway) running a TS Client for SAP to enable automatically reconnecting
the Application Server and Trillium Quality system in the event of Application Server
