To view cleanser or matcher log files

  1. Start a text editor application.

  2. Browse to the location of the project log directory.

  3. Open the file you want to review.

  1. From the Control Center’s Navigation view, select the project and then the process for which you want to view a report.

  2. Right-click and select View from the menu.

  3. Click Log File or Error File to open the report for review.

To turn on debugging

Note: Debugging is a useful troubleshooting tool, but because log files can become very large, you should only turn debugging on when it is recommended by Trillium Software’s Technical Support department. Turn debugging off as soon as you have the information you need.
  1. From the Control Center’s Navigation View, right-click the process you want to debug and select Edit Process.

    The Edit Process window opens.

  2. Click the Output Settings option.

  3. Select the Debug Option you want to activate. (See the Trillium online help for a description of the options.)

  4. Click Finish and rerun the process to generate the debug file.

To view the debug file

  1. From the Control Center’s Navigation View, right-click the process and select Debug...>Copy debug files to client.

  2. Select a destination folder where you want to export the debug file to.

  3. Click OK.

The Debug File is exported to the folder you specified.

  4. Use a text editor to open the debug file.
