The Duplicate Check workflow uses the Global Relationship Linker process to identify records that are potential duplicates. It compares records to determine the level of similarity between them.
There are two types of linking functions:
Reference Linking - compares your input record to an existing SAP database. Reference Linking is available when you perform real-time transactions.
Window Linking - compares records to other records in the same database. This type of linking is available when you submit the/TRILLIUM/WINDOWMATCH to perform batch duplicate checking.
The Global Relationship Linker process for duplicate checking is a process in the matcher server. The scripts are set in an XML formatted file called SAPMatcher.xml.
