The table below describes the entries in the Matcher section of the configuration file.

Table 1. Matcher Sections

Section

Contains

MatchParmFile

A  Matcher parameter containing path and file name of the Matcher script that runs the Matcher server.

MatchLogFile

Path and file name used to log errors generated by the Matcher parameters.

MatchForceWindow

Optional setting that specifies the type of window to use.

R = Force all match candidates to the Retail Match window.

C = Force all candidates to the Commercial Match window. (This is the default value, and provides the best match results for SAP.)

If omitted or if any other value is specified, the Matcher server  uses both the Retail and Commercial windows, based on the presence of FirstName or LastName.
