The Maintain Display Variants for Duplicate Lists (/TRILLIUM/ALVVAR) activity enables the customization of the ABAP List View (ALV) for each of the application logical objects, by country. The table given below describes the parameters for this activity, and Figure: Maintain Display Variants for Duplicate Lists illustrates the Maintain Display Variants for Duplicate Lists activity window with sample values for use with Trillium.

  1. Without saving the data, create a record to generate a list of potential duplicates.

    The Potential Duplicates Found window opens.

  2. Click at the bottom of the window.

    Note: This option is not available with the standard SAP duplicate pop-up windows in SAP CRM 2007 (6.0) and higher.

    The Change Layout window opens.

  3. Rearrange the columns by field name according to your business requirements. For example, move House Number after the Street field.

  4. Click to save your changes.

    The Save Layout window opens.

  5. Enter a customized variant name in the Save layout field and a description in the Name field, or select an existing variant from the Layout list.

  6.          Click to continue the save process.

    The Change Layout window reopens.

  7. Click to transfer the new layout.

    The Potential Duplicates Found window reopens with the new layout.

  8. Click to continue with the ALV variant creation.

  9. Go to the Maintain Display Variants for Duplicate Lists IMG activity via transaction /nSPRO.

    The Maintain Display Variants for Duplicate Lists window reopens.

  10. Perform one of the following steps:

    • Click New Entries to insert the newly created variant.  The New Entries window opens. Proceed to step 11.

    • Select an existing line and click Copy. The Change View Display Variants for Duplicate Lists window opens. Proceed to step 13.

  11. If you clicked New Entry in step 10, enter the required ISO code, Application table, Field, and Layout name in an empty row.

  12. Click  to save the new setting.  

     A complete, updated list of variants for duplicate lists appears. The new entry is added to the table.

  13. If you chose to copy an existing setting in step 10, enter the ISO code, Application table, Field, and Layout name by overwriting the values for the line you copied.

  14.       Press Enter to confirm the new setting.
