Assure MIMIX for PowerHA includes procedures and steps called by application groups to automate processes, enabling faster switch times. These procedures and steps can be used for switch processing to automate a sequence of actions to be performed by application or data exit programs. Error handling for the result of each action can be included in the script. Exit programs shipped with MIMIX use this scripting capability to control starting, stopping, and switching replication from application groups.
