When the instance to be updated is installed in a library located on a switchable independent ASP, the Installation Wizard cannot be used. Instead, do the following:
Check the Readme document for the service pack for any special instructions that need to be performed before or after installing.
Use Ending MIMIX as part of an environment outage to end processes in the MIMIX environment.
Use the following command to allow access to the switchable independent ASP.
SETASPGRP ASPGRP(name)where name is the name of the switchable independent ASP.
Ensure that the software has been downloaded into the appropriate IFS directory on each node.
To install from the downloaded stream file (*STMF), use the INSMMX command as described in the “Installing products” topic in the Using License Manager book.
